Wmplayerc: PCMAV 2.2a Update Build3

Wmplayerc. Virus ini berukuran sekitar 66Kb (varian Wmplayerc.A), atau 262Kb (varian Wmplayerc.B). Ciri khasnya antara lain membuat shortcut untuk folder-folder yang ditemukannya pada root drive, sementara folder aslinya sendiri di-hidden. Pada folder Program Files\Windows Media Player, akan tercipta file “wmplayerc.exe” yang merupakan file virus.Virus ini juga membuat folder dengan nama RÊCYCLÊR yang didalamnya juga berisi file virus dengan nama “ .com”. Gunakan PCMAV 2.2a Update Build3 untuk mendeteksi keberadaan virus ini. Untuk membasminya, gunakan PCMAV 2.2b yang disertakan pada Majalah PC Media edisi 01/2010 yang akan segera terbit.
